Wow! This guide is wonderful. I am on a journey to be an author illustrator in my I failed at retiring phase of life. I am loving practicing and learning to draw and paint with analog tools, but have been seeing the writing on the wall that digital tools have their place as well. I have been teaching myself Procreate, but have so many questions about taking the analog work into digital, setting up pages, etc. Your guide is going to be a fantastic resource for me. Thank you so much.
hello, I came for this but will be staying for the fun ;) As a 'baby' illustrator, I have been struggling with how anything I draw in Procreate looks so flat and dead compared to work on paper, and...duh, I am starting to realise that is the reason people work with importing sketches. A life changing insight!
I love your childhood illustrations and would love to know more about the levitating one - because it resonates with me!!! I have a childhood memory of flying down the stairs!
Hi Helen! I’m still thinking about that wonderful workshop. You know how you shared your screen on the zoom? Is that easy to do? I wonder if I could do it when in the next book meeting. Seems like a nice way to share some different options with the art director.
Brilliant! I’ve used Procreate for 2years now and created 2 picture books on it! I also love mixing traditional art with digital for pure pleasure! I can’t wait to find out what brush you used in your pirate book video! I loved how it created multiple smudgy line thicknesses in one brush! :)
Thank you Helen, this is great :)!
Thank you 🫶
Such a fab booklet, thank you 🙏
A great freebie well worth having. Thanx!
This is great Helen! I’ve never used Procreate…not yet anyway X
Amazing! Thanks!
