I'm drawing characters wearing Medieval costumes while listening to a ghost podcast! I'll probably scare myself half to death, surrounded by scary dolls that keep falling off their chairs when I'm not looking.
Seems like many of us are distracted with non-work related stuff! I'm searching the perfect recipe for yeast-raised doughnuts but make it gluten-free, without complicating my life too much. Also, checking my emails (that's how I ended up here!).

Ooh I love a haunted podcast!! I wasted a good hour of my day stuck at the bottom of a hill I should have known better than to drive down in the snow!!
Did a littlebit of walking / hiking all by myself .I try to get back in the habit of walking more ,Lately I only got out if I was sitting my friend' s dogs.
I am week 1 into redrawing cover typography from my favourite books to help me learn typography. Really enjoying working on Northern Lights. Melissa Castrillon illustration is beautiful. Also loving coloured pencil on grey paper :-). While in corporate online meetings.
Oooh, what a spooky rabbit hole to go down! Did you ever have that Usbourne book of ghosts? (I didn’t, it was too scary!) lots of people like Mark Gatiss say it informed their whole careers. It got reissued recently, might be your cuppa tea?
I’m farting about with my website, which I guess is work adjacent. If I haven’t made a physical mess on my desk I feel I haven’t done anything all day! 🤣
I'm on commission with other art related work and due dates. The picture book continues to sit on my back burner. But I do believe that timing is everything. This past week I knew I had to visit a butterfly conservatory as inspiration for everything I'm doing right now rather than paint and that visit sparked just what I needed in order to move forward.
Well darn that sounds interesting. Of course home alone that would creep me out. Always used to look for monsters under my bed and had a light on every nite til well into adulthood. Stephen Kings the Shining gave me nightmares for years. Still cant read some of his books while others i consume like potato chips. I know crazy but true. Gotta be the Irish in me. My great grandfather believed in banshees til he died. 😂
Is today a work day? Trying to remember what day of the week it is 😂 I’m in Spain so a bit of wandering around Tordesillas , lots of haunted looking buildings here, will keep an eye out 👀 Then maybe a little work on my new print shop but only if I feel like it!

I spent the morning cooking a big batch of Bolognese sauce, and now the house smells wonderful.
We had some bad news this morning.
Baking chocolate muffins, then planning to do some calligraphy or something that involves copying/colouring/doodling mindlessly.

Side note my other daughter (1) just started daycare and I'm going back to work soon and she has cried every day and I am hoping it gets better soon.

Watching the snow fall while re-watching The Walking Dead
