We’ll be spilling all the magic-picture-book-beans!
Join me and Sarah Dyer for a live insta chat
I love to chat with my pal Sarah Dyer about making picture books. She lives down in Brighton and I am in the wilds of Northumberland, so we have some really fun, long rambling chats by Zoom.
After our last catch up, I thought it would be good to share one of our chats live on Instagram so that you can listen in and send us your questions in the comments.
Sarah’s a very generous illustrator, sharing lots of her creative process on Instagram, and her much loved Patreon.
We’ll be talking about how we got started in picture books, the ups and downs along the way (we both have some tales to tell!), how we come up with new book ideas, what keeps us going (it’s crackers and cheese for me), how we stay inspired, our experience with and without agents…all that stuff.
We’ll be spilling all the magic-picture-book-beans!

I self-published a couple of children's picture books to Amazon this year, in Kindle, Paperback and Audiobook formats. It's the start of a series about a young girl Ella and her dog Izzy. https://open.substack.com/pub/booksbyajcameron/p/the-adventures-of-izzy-and-ella
