Stop the goats AMAZING! 😆😆❤️This town is coming like a goat town. (A Specials remix )

So, if I write STOP THE TURTLES on the wall, do you think turtles will come? I feel very tempted.

The story is absolute magic, though!

Isn’t it good? Pie would like to study animation at art school, I think she’ll be good at it!

Seeing how your "Stop the goats" project ended (with an actual uprising of goats!), I would start to worry about your SNAIL mail stickers...

Don't anger the gods, er, goats!

I love goats, seems very on brand to rebel against the anti-goat message.

My daughter has been asking to decorate for Christmas as well 😳 I’ve said not before the first Sunday of advent as an absolute earliest (but more likely later)

Helen Stephens's avatar

I swear, Christmas will start in June at this rate!

I remember as a child getting excited looking for the first house to put their tree up, it was usually a race between the same two on our bus route some time in the first week of December whilst my mum tutted disapproval and told me not until school broke up at the earliest or Christmas Eve if she was being grumpy. Our next door neighbours now put theirs up in November, I don’t think they’ve done it yet but it will be soon as my children complain daily that we haven’t from the moment the see it.

Scrap that I just got home from the gym and my next door neighbours have their Christmas tree up 🤦‍♀️🤣

Helen Stephens's avatar

No waaaay! Ha! They will be so tired of it by December!

Beth Garnett Illustration's avatar

That's so early AAAAAGGGGGHHHH

Laura’s Creative Chaos's avatar

I know, I’m so curious about them (but also slightly scared of them 😂) it’s all gone again on Boxing Day every year, they must be sick of it by then I suppose.

Helen Stephens's avatar

Crazy! I like the tree to go up a week or so before Christmas and them keep it up until new year - stretch out the twinkly lights into grim old January.

Beth Garnett Illustration's avatar

Nooo, surely switching the tree lights on the second you come down stairs in the morning during twixmas is all part of how you justify drinking sherry and eating twiglets at 10am every day for a week……surely….I cant imagine taking it down on boxing day.

Helen Stephens's avatar

We did a really early tree in lockdown, but gone back to early December trees ever since. Sanity was resumed! 😂

That's very nice Pie! Ooh you could come along at the end the month and make a christmassy snail!! 🧑‍🎄🐌🧑‍🎄🐌

Helen Stephens's avatar

Oh yes we would love that! We will be there!
