I actually worked in a children’s play area as a summer job when I was a student, I can still make a balloon sword or balloon dog (I could possibly still do a lion, might need a refresher on that one) so am ready for entertaining children 😆 I can’t juggle though.

This is very helpful and interesting!

I refuse to entertain:D I always say, "I will talk to your grade 4s but they are getting a crash course in professional illustration workflow" (the grade 4s love it).

But where possible I try to get mixed ages — it balances energy levels, and I can call on the kids when I need young knees (e.g. to pose as a bird for comparative anatomy) and the adults when I need cheerfully "bad" (not my word) examples of art to make the kids more comfortable sharing theirs.
