Tomorrow I am going live with
for a studio tidy session.February 7th at 2 pm (UK time)
Yet again, my studio has got seriously out of hand; I can barely fit a sketchbook in the tiny bit of desk space I have left. I need an intervention!
Join Beth and me for an hour of tidying up. It’s amazing what you can get done with a bunch of illustrators cheering each other on!
Later this month, I am going live for a chat with my pal
.If you are signed up for Marloes’ newsletter, you already know how generous she is with sharing her illustration knowledge. Marloes and I have met IRL, here on the Northumberland coast, twice now: trousers rolled up, padding in the sea, chatting as we go (actually, Marloes was paddling in wet tights that filled with sand last time 😂 but that’s another story.)
We have found that we LOVE chatting about our illustration careers together. Marloes has no time for small talk, and I love that! We will be chatting about everything from bad clients to dream jobs and being eager sponges soaking up everything, then learning to be less human-sponge and more human, doing work we love, and most importantly, taking time off to watch crime drama on the telly—all the important stuff.
These lives are for paid subscribers only. Feel free to become a paid member for these two sessions, snoop around the Pencil Pals archive while you’re there, and then leave. We’ll still be friends. Or maybe you’ll like it in the Pencil Pals desk den and hang around.
